Functions: Shift Register

Cryptograph requires a Clock signal with a rising edge to advance the register. The register has a toggle to choose either the Free Run or Loop option. The + or - buttons will respectively insert or remove a bit (at the next clock pulse) from the register when held down. This function is available regardless of which mode is toggled. There is an attenuation knob for the CV output which ranges from 0-10V. The Algo button cycles through the seven bit-generating algorithms used for bit generation.

The different algorithms (by LED color) are:
Red - LFSR mode 1
Green - LFSR mode 2
Yellow - Small Number Modulus
Blue - Fibonacci Sequence
Pink - Prime Number Sequence
Teal - Large Number Modulus
White - Otter Mods Cryptograph
